Postal Treats
Our cookies, cakes and loaves have a shelf life of up to 5 days for the best taste and should be stored in a sealed container at room temperature.
Cookies can be enjoyed as they are or warmed in the oven for a few minutes at 160°C for a soft, freshly baked texture.
Our chocolate products should be stored in a cool, dry place. For best taste and texture, we recommend storing them in the fridge once received.
Allergens
Please get in contact prior to ordering if you have any allergies or dietary requirements.
Our kitchen handles WHEAT (GLUTEN), MILK, EGGS, SOYA, and NUTS. As a result, our products are not suitable for those with severe allergies to these ingredients.
Delivery
All postal orders are shipped via DPD.
Orders are dispatched every Tuesday and are expected to arrive on Wednesday or Thursday. While this is a next day service, delays can occasionally occur which are outside of our control, and we cannot guarantee delivery dates or offer refunds for courier delays.
Please ensure your delivery address is entered correctly at checkout. We cannot accept responsibility for failed deliveries due to incorrect information.
Someone must be available to receive the parcel at the delivery address. The Tead Club cannot take responsibility for missed deliveries or spoilage if no one is available to accept the order.
If you have not received your order, please contact us at hello@theteadclub.co.uk within 24 hours of the expected delivery date.
Collections & Pick Up
Collection orders are available from Bexleyheath on Sundays between 12pm–2pm.
The collection address will be sent via email before your collection window.
Please ensure you arrive within the collection window and have your order number to hand. If you are running late, contact us as soon as possible on 07356085811.
Orders not collected during the stated time may be forfeited and are non-refundable.
Events & Deposits
For all event bookings, including our modern afternoon tea experiences, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date.
The remaining balance is due:
- 2 weeks prior for standard events
- 8 weeks prior for larger or wedding-style bookings
If booking with less than 4 weeks’ notice, full payment is required upfront.
Your booking is only confirmed once payment has been received. Failure to make payment by the agreed date may result in cancellation of your booking.
Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel your order, please notify us as soon as possible by emailing hello@theteadclub.co.uk.
For postal orders, cancellations must be made within 24 hours of ordering. If your order has already been prepared or baked, we are unable to cancel or refund.
For event bookings:
- Deposits are non-refundable
- If full payment has been made and cancellation occurs more than 7 days prior to the event, 50% of the remaining balance may be refunded (deposit retained)
- Cancellations within 7 days of the event are non-refundable
If your event is postponed, we will do our best to transfer your booking to a new date, subject to availability.
Damages
Once products leave our premises, we are no longer responsible for any damage that may occur during transport, handling, or storage.
All items are carefully packaged, however they are delicate and may shift or incur minor cosmetic damage during transit.
Refunds
Due to the perishable nature of our products, we are unable to offer refunds.
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 12 hours of delivery at hello@theteadclub.co.uk, including photographic evidence. Refunds or replacements will be offered at our discretion.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with your order, please contact us immediately at hello@theteadclub.co.uk with details and supporting images where necessary. We will review each case individually and respond accordingly.
